Increase productivity to maximise your income

Increase productivity to maximise your income
August 21, 2019 by Elizabeth Clayden

For this blog, I will be touching on something we like to mention in our emails and socials – how to increase your profit. I will talk you through the ways we here at Codex Edge, with ATLAS, do this and how it can help you do so. I will be sharing what we have learnt and will be explaining how an increase in productivity increases your overall income.

Step 1 – Achieve more:

Driving income is not as easy as many marketing blogs and other websites make it sound. A majority of the work that people do fails to achieve the results and advance the organisation. This is why strategies are essential as well as to be able to prioritise effectively by distinguishing between useful and less useful work. The positives of working out what is valuable work will help to increase your productivity and in turn your income, which means more new jobs, products and services.

Step 2 – Handling your workload:

Traditional productivity advice can often seem vague, but being productive does not mean doing unproductive work faster. Focus your efforts to contribute the most to the business. Therefore, your time will be used more productively. When working, you may be unsure of what is or is not productive, and feel negative about the situation at hand. So it will help if you turn these thoughts into something positive, and this will help you shift your attention so you don’t lose focus.

Step 3 – Focus:

Staying productive also helps to keep you calm and focused and so asking “what if?” is not always the best way to stay productive. You can end up in places that are not as useful or even further from your end goal. However, this does not rule out scenario planning, which is a necessary and sufficient technique. You have to know how to distinguish between strategic thinking and worry. That said, if you slip up, it is crucial to keep on going. This will help increase your efficiency, therefore, giving you a more productive outcome quicker.

Step 4 – The concept of perfection:

Perfection does not exist. Coming to terms with this is what sets you apart from the rest. Setting perfection as your target will create more issues for you in the long run. Seeking this can often make you want to give up or reduce your effort entirely. However, to be productive, you still have to aim to achieve the best outcome possible, using all the tools you have at your disposal to your advantage.

Step 5 – Concentration:

Concentrating on problems and issues is a good tactic, but if you do too much, it will reinforce negative emotions which stop your productivity. So focus on what you will do to improve your circumstances. This will give you a sense of personal efficiency that makes you feel positive, therefore enhances your performance.

In Conclusion:

Work with the time you have to add value to your daily work, and this, in turn, will drive revenue. These points are things that we, as Codex Edge, have found very useful. For example, with ATLAS, we offer our clients a way and a tool to get more with less. From what we have learnt, mentioned above and more, we can see how our product ATLAS is extremely useful. It is a legal recruitment solution we supply that will allow any recruiter to achieve a higher income with the productivity it provides.

Looking at Codex Edge in terms of where we have come from and where we are going, we has made huge progress over the past few months. We hope that you can find the information in this blog useful and see our perspective as a growing company.
